I’m just getting over the worst case of food poisoning I’ve ever had. Suffice it to say that I’ve spent more time in the bathroom this past week than anywhere else.
I don’t know what the culprit was, but there are plenty of candidates. I’m always buying food from street vendors whose sanitary conditions aren’t the best. It could have been the noodle dish cooked in a frying pan that’s used hundreds of times a day. Or maybe the dubious fruit I buy from a stand in front of my apartment complex.
Since I don’t cook and I’m living by myself, I don’t have many choices here other than eating street food, going to restaurants or buying instant noodle soup from the local convenience store. Pat has long urged me to learn how to cook. Someday, I’ll listen to her.
Sorry to hear you had bad food poisoning (is there ever a good kind?). Please listen to your lovely wife…get a wok! xo
great advice from Kat. sending love.
ugh, sorry about your tummy troubles…. no fun! glad you’re on the mend.
Rick,
Practically speaking, you’re probably too busy sewing, cleaning, ironing, not to mention navigating the mountain paths of southern China to cook. Happy holidays to you and Pat.
Your friend,
Chris
